Powerful Prayful Monday 11/30

Can you believe that tomorrow is the first day of December? Where did the year go? While December is the most festive time of the year with all kinds of parties and food, it is also one of the most stressful months. My prayer is that all that read this blog remain stress free and able to enjoy the celebrations of our Savior’s birth.

If you have a prayer request, please list it below. There were less last week and I hope that means there were fewer needs. But, it could have also been because the crunch of the Thanksgiving week kept readers away from blogs. I know I didn’t get to read many last week or over the weekend.

Have a wonderful Monday and great week. I look forward to praying for anyone who leaves a request.

  1. There is certainly strength in prayer as we exercise our faith. I have a cousin Marion who is going through some rough times. Thanks for your prayers...

  2. Amy, my son Christopher. He always needs prayer. And that everyone realize their need for the living Savior, Jesus Christ.

How about you? What can I pray for you about? Thanks for doing this Amy! :)

  3. Would you please pray for my son. He's trying out for basketball this week. I wouldn't be worried about it, but it is so important to him, and he's really short for his age. He's going to have a tough time. What I'd like you to pray for is that he is okay with whatever the outcome may be.

  4. I love the Christmas season. I don't go 'all out' like most people. I don't get stressed over the holiday. It's a shame people don't enjoy it for what it is... a celebration of hope, peace and life everlasting! Instead they turn it into a decorating/shopping competition.

My prayer request is that... that those I care about will take a step back to see the real reason for the season.

  5. Thanks Amy. I love Christmas but it's hard to avoid getting stressed. My Mum will be arriving in a week - she'll help keep me sane with her presence and her prayers.

  6. I need to have some wisdom when I buy presents, so that I can find the right gifts for a good price.

Hope you have a wonderful, nonstressed holiday! :-)

  8. I just wanted to stop by and say thanks for praying. My son made the basketball team. I prayed for God's will and that he would be okay with whatever the outcome was, so I guess this is God's will. Thanks for the prayers. You are a beautiful person.
