Forced to escape her home country or face the guillotine, Elise LeNoir makes her way to the estate of a family friend in England. Lord Hunter Westwood opens his home to the young woman and his heart soon becomes hers. Unfortunately, he is already betrothed, an engagement meant to unite two families, not two hearts.
