Deciding What to Read and How to Read It

Today I am bloging at LadyScribes.blogspot.com. Stop by and let me know how you pick the books you read and what your preference is in how you read those books.

  1. I read a lot of non-fiction from the library. It's so fun to browse and pick. As far as fiction goes, I buy Steeple Hill's books from the grocery store as a treat. Other books I might read because a friend recommended them or they're by a favorite author. It depends!

  2. I too read non-fiction, mostly self help books by Julia Cameron of Artist's Way fame. She got many of them. I read in the afternoon after busy mornings and almost always fall asleep for a lovely nap! lol...

  3. I read your post and I truly hope that bookstores are not leaving us. I love holding a book and using a book marker so much more than anything electronic. Now I do like books on audio - - but only in the car.
Non-fiction is still my favorite with biographies being the tops. A Christian message is important, too, because life's too short to ingest garbage.

  4. I've been getting suggestions from friends and then head to the library!
