Anxious for Spring - Powerful Prayful Sund - 2/21

I think Spring must be my favorite time of the year. It is the season of hope and renewal. Nothing gives me more energy than seeing the grass turn green and the daffodiles open. What about you, what is your favorit season and what is your favorite thing about spring?

It is Sunday and another powerful prayful day. Please join me in praying for each other and if you have a specific (or general) need or praise, I would love for you to list it in the comments.

  1. I prayed all day yesterday for a safe journey through snow storms to see family, now I need that for the return trip tomorrow....thanks.

  2. I love fall. When the trees are so beautifully dressed in red, orange, yellow and so many other colors. I love the smell of the leaves burning, s'mores, hot dogs roasted late at night. Warm, dry days and cool, crisp nights. Ah yes, give me fall the year 'round.

  3. I'm with you on spring. It gives me so much hope every year! I think living in Wisconsin does that for me, since watching winter melt away is so dramatic. And, oh, the joy of being able to go outside without a coat after months of bundling up!

  4. I love spring. God paints all the bright neon colors all over, and the expectancy of new blooms makes my spirit rise.

  5. I love all the seasons, I think. They're each so pretty in their own way. :-)
I'd love some prayer for my body. It just seems to be fighting off more symptoms again and I really don't want to be sick. Thanks Amy!

  6. Amy, I appreciate your emphasis on prayer! Thank you for that! And I agree about spring. We got a little taste of warmer weather this weekend and it sure does increase the longing for it!

  7. Amy, continue to be moved by the plight of orphans--147 million strong. Would appreciate prayer for my friend whose mom is dying.

    Blessings for this great blog.
